Cloud Sherpas, the Google (News
- Alert) Enterprise 2011 partner of the year and a Platinum salesforce.com partner, has acquired Innoveer Solutions, a CRM advisory and cloud integration services firm.
Thanks to the acquisition, Cloud Sherpas would now be able to have its first physical presence in Europe and would squarely position Cloud Sherpas as a major player in the cloud services brokerage ecosystem.
"Our clients are expanding their cloud application footprint," said David Northington, CEO at Cloud Sherpas, in a statement.
"Many of our global customers have experienced success in one area of their business and are eager to apply cloud-based sales automation, customer service, call center support and collaboration throughout their organizations,” said Northington.
He said that with the acquisition of Innoveer (News - Alert), the company brings more than 500 cloud strategists and technical experts to bear on the market across six countries, including a solid platform for European expansion.

Earlier in December, Cloud Sherpas had acquired CloudTrigger, a top California-based cloud solution consultancy focused on helping organizations implement and customize CRM solutions in the cloud.
The move provides Cloud Sherpas with the strategic and technical resources necessary to further capitalize on cloud CRM implementation and customization opportunities in North America and abroad.
The acquisition of CloudTrigger is another significant milestone for Cloud Sherpas in its emergence as a leading cloud services brokerage (CSB). In October, the firm hired former Capgemini (News - Alert) executive Gary DiOrio to lead its CRM business.
