The at-home agent service line by Sykes (News
- Alert) Enterprises has been rebranded, SYKES Home powered, by Alpine Access.
Sykes Enterprises provides comprehensive outsourced customer contact management solutions and services in the business process outsourcing (BPO) arena.
The company acquired Alpine Access last year and the rebranding reflects this acquisition.
Alpine Access is an established name in the virtual call center model, which allows customer service professionals to work out of their homes.
“As the new name signifies, SYKES Home is now proud to couple Alpine Access great innovation with SYKES' great service as an offering to all of our clients,” said Chuck Sykes, president and chief executive officer at Sykes Enterprises.
SYKES Home provides employment to thousands of at-home agents throughout North America. The organization offers increased staffing flexibility and access to an expanded pool of skilled labor to its clients.
"SYKES Home provides the flexibility and quality of service that businesses need to thrive in today's competitive global marketplace," added Sykes.
Following the acquisition, a team of executives from the former Alpine Access is now responsible for managing SYKES Home.
Former president and chief executive officer for Alpine Access, Christopher Carrington, is now holding the position of executive vice president of Global Delivery at SYKES.
In his new role, Carrington is responsible for key geographies within the America's region, including SYKES Home.
SYKES provides comprehensive customer contact management solutions and services in the business process outsourcing (BPO) arena. The company was in the news earlier this year for releasing financial results for the fourth-quarter and full-year ended December 31, 2012, on February 25, 2013.
